Biographical / Historical
El Mirasol was a Mediterranean Revival mansion designed by Addison Mizner for financier Edward T. Stotesbury in 1920. Stotebury's wife, Eva, was very involved in the construction and design process and became close friends with Mizner. The estate was demolished in the early 1950s, however, the original arch entryway remains (See 365 North County Road).
