The Volk Family Papers contain documents relating to the personal affairs of Jane Volk, John L. Volk, and John K. Volk Jr. Included in these papers are personal and identifiation records, including marriage licenses, stock certificates, birth certificates, naturalization paperwork, and mortgage information. Also includes a YMCA Service Award given to John L. Volk in 1960.

Scope and Contents Contains 77 color and b/w slide transparencies of properties and projects designed by John L. Volk, as well as news articles and photographs of Volk. Most transparencies are undated, but some are dated between 1935-1967. Some slides have handwritten notes labelling the property depicted in the photograph, and include properties such as the Bath and Tennis Club, the Everglades Club, and the Royal Poinciana Playhouse.
